Herbs for Everyday Living: Winter Series
A 4 Week course
January 10, 17, 24, 31 in Melrose, MA
Learn how to deepen your relationship with the plant world, get to know plant “personalities”, and understand how to choose which herbs to use for yourself or others, with a focus on seasonal herbs. Over the course of 4 weeks we will meet to do hands-on work with the herbs so that you have the knowledge, tools and confidence to use them at home in ways that most benefit you.

Returning to Our Roots
January 12th, 6:30 - 8pm

There are many readily available medicinal roots that offer the human body deep nourishment and vitality. In this fun and informative workshop we will discuss, taste and experience several wild and cultivated medicinal roots such as: burdock, dandelion, chicory, astragalus and elecampane, among others. You will learn about their medicinal value, where and how they grow, and how and when to use each at home. Participants will leave with a root-based chai tea blend that we will create in class together.
